25 December 2010 - Merry Christmas from ttypes.org!
We wish our 950 registered "subscribers" and all those who occasionally view the site but haven't registered a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. The February issue of TTT 2 is underway and is scheduled to be uploaded to the site on 15th January 2011.

16 December 2010 - Rare MG TF1500 Sales Brochure Reprint now available
The MG T-Series Online Shop is now stocking a small run of good quality reproductions of this rare MG TF1500 Sales Brochure. The brochure is official MG Publication No. H.54125 and capitalises on Captain George Eyston's record-breaking car at Bonneville Salt Flats, Utah, USA. The brochure is available for £7.50 plus postage; check the ttypes.org T-Shop for more details.

13 December 2010 - Three More T-Type Suppliers
Three more T-Series suppliers have been added to the Directory: Delta Camshaft (WA, USA), Auto and Industrial Friction Services and Bryan Purves (both UK). Shortly the suppliers list will be categorised to facilitate easier browsing now that it has grown to a healthy size.

30 November 2010 - Practical MG TD Maintenance Update and Innovation
Jonathan Goddard's book, titled as above, is selling well and over fifty (50) copies have been dispatched to customers worldwide. The book costs £6.99 with postage costs being £0.81 (UK), £2.25 (EU) and £3.75 (Rest of World). The book can be ordered via the ttypes.org online shop.

We know that we are 13% less expensive than one of our competitors for UK orders, 16% less expensive for EU orders and marginally less expensive for Rest of World orders.

Service excellence comes as standard - long live independence!

21 November 2010 - TTT2 Issue 3 Published
Totally T-Type 2 Issue 3 (December 2010) has been published and is available to read as usual either directly online or as a pdf download. We hope this issue is as well-received as the others and please don't forget to comment on the online versions of the articles if you have any comments, questions or feedback on a particular article.

18 November 2010 - 1000 Downloads for TTT2
As of this week, the first two issues of Totally T-Type 2 have been downloaded over 1000 times each. Thank you very much for your support in reaching this landmark. If you know a T-Typer who would benefit from hearing about ttypes.org, it takes all of two minutes to inform them from the Help page: simply scroll down to the "Spread the Word" section and fill out the "virtual postcard" to automatically send them an email inviting them to visit the website.

There is a new XPAG extractor exhaust advertised in the Parts for Sale section. These rarely come on the market, especially at this price.

7 November 2010 - YZ Publications: Press Release
YZ Publications is pleased to announce that at long last David Lawrence's book "Let There Be Y's" is once again available, but now on Compact Disc. The book was first published in 1998 and quickly earned a high reputation of being the definitive book on the MG Y Series. A supplement was published three years later containing further facts and details that surfaced mainly as a result of research and feedback from the initial book launch. A new second supplement, not available in hard copy, has now been produced to accompany this new release of the book.

The CD version of the book is unique in that there is an embedded cross-reference between the original book and the two supplements. Therefore if there is an update from subsequent research then it will be linked in the original text to the place in the appropriate Supplement (and back from the Supplement to the book text) by a hyperlink. The book is provided in PDF format and a reader is included with the disc. It is also possible to search the text of both the book and supplements using the standard Acrobat search facility.

A number of owners have requested that it should be possible to print certain pages to enable them to be used in the garage/workshop with restoration. We are pleased to have been able to incorporate this. If you want to print a page range showing the wiring diagram, the location of the brake pipes, or just where cable are fed on the bulkhead, this is possible.

The CDs released on the 1st November are for the Windows Operating system and are fully compatible with Windows version 7. The MAC version of the release will be announced when available.

YZ Publications has a number of other titles that it is making available using the same technology and it is anticipated that there will be significant demand for these. Please click here for further information.

30 October 2010 - Four New MG T-Series Suppliers
Four new suppliers - From the Frame Up, Pickerings of Bradford, PJM Motors and Orson Equipment - have been added to the services directory.

27 October 2010 - T-Type Bookshelf Launched
A new section of the website has been launched which details a number of popular T-Type publications available on the book website Amazon. Visitors in the UK, USA, Canada and Germany will see the up-to-date prices of the books as listed on their home country's Amazon site in their home currency; visitors from all other countries will see the books as priced on Amazon UK in Pounds Sterling. More books are on their way pending reviews. Any purchases made through this section of the website earns a small commission for ttypes.org, which as with donations will be ploughed back into developing the site for the benefit of T-Type owners worldwide. 20 October 2010 - 800 Subscribers to TTT2
We have reached the milestone of 800 email subscribers to TTT2! Thanks to everyone who has subscribed so far. A forthcoming update to the site will be the addition of more recommended T-Type suppliers, as well as a "Bookshelf" section detailing short reviews of the popular T-Type books that have been published.

11 October 2010 - Free Totally T-Type 2 Index Search Now Online
TTT2 is now fully searchable online via a simple textbox search in the top righthand corner of each page of the online version of Totally T-Type 2. Clicking "Search" after entering a search phrase will return any matching articles with your search phrase highlighted for convenience. Try it now

7 October 2010 - Fundraising Track Day at Goodwood Motor Circuit
The Goodwood Marshals Club are holding a fundraising track day to raise money for two very worthwhile causes: Chestnut Tree House Children's Hospice in Arundel and Chichester Hospital Radio.

Friday 10th December 2010 - 9am-4pm

If you would like to experience the track there will be parade laps available to buy at the cost of £20 for three laps - bring your own car, and passengers are free!

Laps available at 9.00am and 1.00pm

Today we reached the memorable landmark of 750 subscribers to TTT 2. To have reached this total in a little over three weeks from the previous milestone of 500 is really good going. We are now on our way to 1000 subscribers! A big 'thank you' to all of you who have taken the trouble to subscribe. 13 September 2010 - Four new suppliers
Another four UK-based T-Type spares and service suppliers have been added to the suppliers list; there are now twenty direct-from-source suppliers in our free directory.

8 September 2010 - 500 Subscribers to Totally T-Type 2!

3 September 2010 - Five more T-Type suppliers
Five more T-Type service suppliers have been added to the website, bringing the total number to sixteen. There are plenty more on the way, so keep checking back to see if there is a specialist who can help you out with a job you have outstanding.

27 August 2010 - Three international suppliers added
Our first three non-UK businesses have been added to the inventory of recommended suppliers. As the list is growing nicely, and will continue to do so, a priority task is to categorise it - initially by country, and then eventually by type of service offered.

24 August 2010 - A successful launch - and three new suppliers for the inventory
The launch of ttypes.org in combination with the publication of Totally T-Type 2 Issue 1 has gone down better than we could have ever hoped, with the free MG T-Series technical publication having been downloaded more than 400 times so far, with an astonishing 75% of readers subscribing to the email list to receive notifications when future issues are published. We have also received more than 50 very welcome and wholly positive comments on the website. Thank you!

Three more suppliers have been added to the list: Roger Furneaux's "Mad Metrics" T-Type parts service and two recommended cast iron welding companies in Leicestershire and Derbyshire. Suppliers will continue to be added regularly, so keep an eye on this front page for updates.

20 August 2010 - TTT 2 Issue 1 available for download
The website has been launched along with the first issue of the free online technical publication, Totally T-Type 2, available as a PDF download or to read online.
