THIS IS AN OIL FILTER CONVERSION FOR THE EARLY MG TA MPJG ENGINE BEFORE No 1514 (THE ONE WITH THE TWO PIPES, IT WILL NOT FIT THE LATER ENGINE). IT COMES READY TO BOLT ON, COMPLETE WITH GASKETS AND BOLTS. AS IT IS A COMPLETE UNIT THE ORIGINAL CAN BE SAVED TO REFIT IF A PURIST BUYS YOUR CAR AND WANTS TO REFIT THE OLD FILTER.
I WILL ACCEPT RETURNS IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY TO FIT IT, OR FOR SOME REASON IT DOESNT FIT, PROVIDED IT ARRIVES BACK IN ITS ORIGINAL CONDITION, EG, NOT OILY OR BENT.
THIS UNIT WILL TAKE SPIN ON FILTERS, CHAMPION C103, UNIPART GFE443, AND FRAM PH966B ETC.
FILTER NOT INCLUDED, THEY CAN BE BOUGHT AT HALFORDS OR OTHER MOTOR FACTORS FOR UNDER £5
I ALSO MAKE A SIMILAR UNIT TO FIT THE LATER TA.

  • It is sad to report that even in our little corner of the internet there are fraudsters and scammers operating. A T-Typer who recently posted a "Wanted" advert has received a response from someone who claimed to have "the parts" he was after, asking for payment via Western Union money transfer (a haven for scammers) and quoting a PO Box address. We can only echo the cautionary note given by Craigslist at the top of every classified ad: Beware any deal involving Western Union, Moneygram, wire transfer, cashier check, money order, shipping, escrow, or any promise of transaction protection/certification/guarantee.
  • When you receive a response to a Wanted advert on ttypes.org, apply common sense. Does the person sound like a T-Typer? Ask for photos of all of the parts, including close-ups on serial numbers or other distinguishing features. If the person refuses or makes excuses, do not continue with the deal. Likewise, if you are selling parts, then be absolutely sure that any payment has cleared completely before shipping anything. Where possible, deal locally, face-to-face, or failing that, use PayPal, which affords you a level of buyer protection.
