1 off 1946 MGTC Tub. - 30% good wood, inner steelwork and Inner wings solid but need de rusting. Side Screen box may need replacing.

Scuttle top 90% good condition requires new metal at windscreen Cowl Bracket area on both sides.

2 Doors, Solid wood. Metal Skins require some metal work to complete.

2 unrestored Running boards and 2 outer rear wings included and could provide base for renovation.

Bulkhead and Footplate not included.

Body tub is in East Lancs area

A T-Typer who recently posted a "Wanted" advert has received a response from someone who claimed to have "the parts" he was after, asking for payment via Western Union money transfer (a haven for scammers) and quoting a PO Box address. We can only echo the cautionary note given by Craigslist at the top of every classified ad: Beware any deal involving Western Union, Moneygram, wire transfer, cashier check, money order, shipping, escrow, or any promise of transaction protection/certification/guarantee.
  • When you receive a response to a Wanted advert on ttypes.org, apply common sense. Does the person sound like a T-Typer? Ask for photos of all of the parts, including close-ups on serial numbers or other distinguishing features. If the person refuses or makes excuses, do not continue with the deal. Likewise, if you are selling parts, then be absolutely sure that any payment has cleared completely before shipping anything. Where possible, deal locally, face-to-face, or failing that, use PayPal, which affords you a level of buyer protection.
