I've left it a bit late in the day to put this on here, but I am selling by dismantled 1936 TA on Ebay, finishing on Monday (21 Oct.). Current bid £7,600.*****SOLD*****

Most parts are there. In particular -

New body tub
Restored Chassis and front axle
MPJG engine
Some other small new items. (Some from John, if my memory is correct.)

Body panels generally bad but key difficult parts (scuttle, front valance) are, I believe, repairable.

Lots of photos available.

Above title should find it on Ebay but let me know if you have any difficulty.

IMPORTANT - Please Read

  • It is sad to report that even in our little corner of the internet there are fraudsters and scammers operating. A T-Typer who recently posted a "Wanted" advert has received a response from someone who claimed to have "the parts" he was after, asking for payment via Western Union money transfer (a haven for scammers) and quoting a PO Box address. We can only echo the cautionary note given by Craigslist at the top of every classified ad: Beware any deal involving Western Union, Moneygram, wire transfer, cashier check, money order, shipping, escrow, or any promise of transaction protection/certification/guarantee.
  • When you receive a response to a Wanted advert on, apply common sense. Does the person sound like a T-Typer? Ask for photos of all of the parts, including close-ups on serial numbers or other distinguishing features. If the person refuses or makes excuses, do not continue with the deal. Likewise, if you are selling parts, then be absolutely sure that any payment has cleared completely before shipping anything. Where possible, deal locally, face-to-face, or failing that, use PayPal, which affords you a level of buyer protection.
  • The worldwide MG T-Type community is close-knit, and at we know personally many of the individuals that are part of it, so if you have any doubt at all about a transaction, contact us in the first instance before proceeding with any deal.
